Program
1st day
Departure in 4 × 4 from Marrakech to Ouarzazate in crossing the High Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m). Arrival at the kasbah of Telouet (ancestral home of Pacha Glaoui), visit of the Kasbah, continuation in 4 × 4 for the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, passing through the Valley of the Ounila. Arrival in the morning at the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, lunch on-site, in the afternoon, visit of the kasbah. Arrival Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2nd day
Departure in the morning in 4 × 4 from Ouarzazate to me hamid and the Valley of the Draa in crossing the Anti-Atlas to the village of Agdez, continuation by the track of the old road caravans in order to get closer to the Palm Grove of the Draa Valley and its walled villages. Back on the road to arrive late morning in Zagora, lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, starting in 4 × 4 for the village of me hamid (end of the road paved), continuation in 4 × 4 by the track to reach the bivouac located at the foot of the dunes of the Erg Lihoudi. Walk around the dunes and enjoy a beautiful sunset, dinner and night under nomadic tents.
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th day
Trekking with dromedaries for 4 days of the Erg Lihoudi to the dunes of Chegaga discovering different landscapes (Oasis, Ergs, Regs…). The 6th day late afternoon in the dunes of Chegaga and enjoy a beautiful sunset at the top of the Erg Laabidlia (300 m), dinner and night under nomadic tents. -NB – Trekking: 3 H walk in the morning and in the afternoon, you will be accompanied by a dromedary / guides who will take care of preparing food and tents for the night as well as for the dromedaries for the porting of the material.
day 7
After the breakfast, departure in 4×4 to the dunes of Chegaga by the Village Foum Zguid and lac Iriqui. Continuation by the track of Paris – Dakar, lunch on site.
In the afternoon, departure in 4×4 to ouarzazate via Taznahkt (Village renowned for its manufacture of carpets). Arrival at ouarzazate in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
day 8
Departure in 4 × 4 for the gorges of Dadès through the oasis of Skoura (passing on the track to find you as close to the palmeraie of Skoura and its fortified villages). Continue by road to the village of Kelaa M’gouna and take the track that crosses the Valley of the roses as the road to the thousand kasbahs, arrived late morning at the gorges of Dadès, breakfast on site. In the afternoon, walk in Boumalne Dades Valley. Return to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
day 9
After breakfast, visit the Taourirt Kasbah (former home of Pacha Glaoui) then starting in 4 × 4 by the track for the oasis of Fint (former crossroads of caravans), walk in the oasis, lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, starting in 4 × 4 for Marrakech crossing the High Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m). Late afternoon arrival in Marrakech.
